Campus Renovation

In Spring 2006, the PLTS Board of Directors voted to stay at our home at the top of the Berkeley Hills in California. In Spring 2007, the PLTS Board of Directors unanimously adopted a “Campus Master Plan.” The purpose of the plan is to improve and make best use of the existing buildings for our current educational program, administrative support, hospitality, student life and for possible additional program needs yet to be determined, such as continuing education, distance learning, income-producing auxiliary activities, or faculty housing. In the plan, care is given to maintaining the historic character of the buildings and the distinctive ethos of the campus.

The estimated cost to implement the entire master plan, as of Spring 2007, is more than $22 million. We intend to accomplish it in phases. You will be hearing more about this project when our capital campaign is launched. In the meantime, we appreciate your current gifts for campus upgrades through our Annual Fund.
